2020 Honda Civic Trim Comparison

Car and Driver rated the 2020 Honda Civic 5 out of 5 stars in their review. As someone who personally owns a recent Honda Civic, I can tell you that all the great things they had to say about the Civic are right.

The 2020 Honda Civic is sporty with its optional turbocharged engine. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Push to Start, Remote Start, Incredible Fuel Economy, Stellar Safety Ratings, and Proven Honda Reliability, are among some of the reasons I am a Honda customer.

So if the choice to purchase a Honda is clear, and the Civic has caught your eye, there is only two more choices to make. Which trim and what color?

The Honda Civic Trims are the following. I will highlight the major differences between them. I could show you a long list of features, but that becomes overwhelming. So, let’s just focus on what you might care most about.

2020 Honda Civic LX

All 2020 Honda Civic trims now include Honda Sensing. The inclusion of Honda Sensing is a big deal as it adds several intelligent safety features to your vehicle. This feature alone is enough to consider the Honda Civic LX over any other competition.

Honda Sensing

Honda Sensing is an elusive intelligent suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies designed to alert you to things you might miss while driving. These include Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM), Adaptive Crusie Control (ACC), and Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS).

Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) applies brake pressure when an unavoidable collision is determined.

Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM) adjusts steering and braking if you cross detected lanes without signaling.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) maintains a set following interval behind detected vehicles.

Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) adjusts steering to help you keep centered in a detected lane.
